DIANA STEELMAN

These are a few of my paintings from my senior year of high school when I did a study of this gravy boat. This series was done with acrylic paint on a wooden canvas. I chose this gravy boat as my subject because I really wanted to paint a reflective object to try to portray its metal texture through the highlights and shadows. it was a challenge to create the metal texture however it was very rewarding and fun to focus in on the small details.
